KHT (Korean Hand Therapy)

Korean Hand Therapy was first developed by Dr. Tae Woo Yoo, OMD, Ph.D. about 1970 in South Korea. He began his first professional training program around 1997 in Los Angeles.

KHT is a complete micro-Acupuncture/Acupressure system mapped out entirely on both hands. This includes the front and back sides of the hand, whi8ch reflect disorders of the front and back sides of the body. KHT is an extremely versatile system that works anywhere. That is to say patients can be taught to use the system in times of discomfort even when away from the doctor, while traveling, at work, etc.

This method can be used without needles, works in some cases immediately, and can treat all issues Acupuncture can address but from the hand alone.

There have been a number of Western medical studies on the effectiveness of KHT (performed by MD’s) which showed excellent results. These studies involved a variety of ailments including post-operation nausea and nocturnal enuresis (bed-wetting).
